A Bit of History
Exploding Kittens holds the record as one of the most-backed games in Kickstarter history. The game was created by Elan Lee (XBOX, ARGs), Matthew Inman (The Oatmeal), and Shane Small (XBOX, Marvel), who made Kickstarter history in 2015 when more than 219,000 backers supported their project. By 2023, more than 25 million copies of Exploding Kittens had been sold worldwide.

About Exploding Kittens
Exploding Kittens is a highly strategic version of Russian roulette – only with kittens. Players take turns drawing cards until someone draws an Exploding Kitten, explodes, dies, and is eliminated from the game.

Unless, of course, that player has a Defuse card, which allows them to neutralize the kitten using things such as a laser pointer, a belly rub, or a catnip sandwich.

All the other cards in the deck are designed to help players avoid Exploding Kittens – or place them directly in the path of their opponents.

What Makes This Edition Different?
This edition contains a huge selection of cards and, compared to the original edition, also introduces cards with new effects. Best of all, it allows up to 10 players to join the chaos!
