Pokémon TCG - Scarlet & Violet - Ruler of the Black Flame - Booster Box - (Korean)

The Ruler of the Black Flame expansion is the third main set in the Scarlet & Violet series of the Pokémon Trading Card Game. This set is notable for introducing Tera Pokémon ex with types that differ from their usual typings, adding a new layer of strategy to the game.

A prominent example is Charizard ex, which appears as a Darkness-type Pokémon in this set. Despite its type shift, it retains its standard Energy requirements for attacks but has different Weakness and Resistance attributes corresponding to its new type.

The expansion also reintroduces Technical Machine cards, now classified as Pokémon Tool cards, providing players with versatile options to enhance their decks.

In total, the set includes 141 cards, featuring a mix of new Pokémon ex, Trainer cards, and Special Energy cards. Many of these cards were later incorporated into the international Obsidian Flames expansion, released on August 11, 2023.
