The 2024–25 Upper Deck Extended Series Hobby box serves as the final chapter in Upper Deck’s flagship hockey set for the season. Released on May 29, 2025, it expands the base set with 250 additional cards – 200 veteran players and 50 Young Guns or 1st-Round Rookies. Each hobby box contains 12 packs of 12 cards, totaling 144 cards.

On average, each box yields 6 rookie cards from either the Young Guns or 1st-Round subsets, widely recognized as some of the most valuable rookie cards in the hobby. Collectors will also find 4 UD Canvas inserts per box, which can include current stars, legends, All-Stars, and Young Guns Canvas editions. Additionally, each box guarantees one Outburst parallel and one Blue Dazzlers card.

The new Oracles and Oracles SP insert sets debut in this series, with variations that include Rare, SP, and SSP tiers. Each box also includes two Triple Dimensions Reflections parallels, with limited-edition versions such as Sapphire (/10) and Gold (/50). Other inserts featured include Beehive, Encore, UD3, Silver Skates, and Rookie Reflections.

Hobby boxes also offer access to exclusive content not found in retail formats. This includes Clear Cut parallels, Pink Dazzlers (1 per case on average), Black & White UD Canvas cards, and ultra-limited Outburst Gold (1/1), High Gloss (/10), Red (/25), and Deluxe (/250) parallels. A major highlight is the rare Alex Ovechkin Buyback Autograph, hand-numbered to 8 copies with a GR8/8 stamp – one of the most collectible cards in the set.
