What the game is about:

Take on the role of the Fellowship of the Ring and their allies, working together to protect Frodo on his journey to Mount Doom. Based on the popular Pandemic game system, this game dives deep into the rich lore and storytelling of Tolkien’s universe.

You’ll explore the map of Middle-earth, battle enemies, complete story-driven objectives, and resist the rising power of the Shadow. Each player controls two characters with unique abilities. You'll need to move, fight, cooperate, and carefully manage your resources to succeed.

Frodo is at the heart of the story—under the protection of his companions, he travels into the heart of Mordor, while the rest of the group confronts the growing threat. Your goal is to complete several story objectives that ultimately lead to destroying the Ring.

Enemies advance along battle paths to attack key strongholds. If left unchecked, these strongholds fall and become Dark Fortresses, which lowers the hope level. If hope drops to zero, the game ends in defeat.
