Pokémon Trainer Expert is a party quiz game that marries Pokémon trivia with speed, observation, and deduction. The game includes an electronic device with a voice moderator that guides the game — presenting clues, tracking scores, and maintaining pace. The box also contains a double-sided game board (Beginner and Expert modes), 4 colored player rings, and an illustrated board with Pokémon.

Gameplay works by the moderator providing up to ten sequential clues about a secret Pokémon. Players attempt to buzz in and place their ring on the correct Pokémon on the board. The fewer clues you need, the more points you score. The board’s two difficulty levels make the game accessible for children while still offering a challenge for seasoned fans.
