Ancient Origins is the name of the seventh major expansion of the XY series for the Pokémon Trading Card Game. In Japan, it was released under the name Bandit Ring, which is the seventh and final expansion of the Pokémon Card Game XY era. It is based on the Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire games and features sixth-generation Pokémon and the Mythical Pokémon Hoopa in its Hoopa Unbound form. The English expansion was released on August 12, 2015, while the Japanese expansion was released on June 20, 2015. Shiny Primal Kyogre, Primal Groudon, and Mega Rayquaza were included as secret cards.
