Theme: Focused heavily on Grass-type Pokémon, but also included Normal, Water, Lightning, and Psychic types.

Notable Pokémon: Introduced many fan favorites such as Snorlax, Clefable, Wigglytuff, Vaporeon, Jolteon, Flareon, and Scyther.

Holographics: Each pack had a chance of containing one of the 16 holofoil rare cards.

Symbol: A small flower (or sprout) found at the bottom right of the card artwork.

Legacy: It was the first set to add new cards beyond the original Base Set, expanding the game’s playable strategies and introducing evolutions for Pokémon that previously only had their Basic form (e.g., Eevee evolutions).
