Duck & Cover is a simple and fun card game for the whole family. Each player selects one of seven duck families, shuffles 12 cards, and arranges them in a 4x3 grid. The game is played over three rounds, aiming to accumulate as few points as possible.
In each turn, the captain flips a card with a number, and players must find the corresponding card in their grid. They can move this card onto an adjacent card to cover it or move it to an empty space without covering. If the card is already covered, the player must loudly quack.
The game encourages quick decision-making, observation, and planning. With simple rules and short playtime, it's perfect for children and adults alike, whether at home, on the go, or at parties.
